Our Story
Conveniently located in Fonthill in the center of the Niagara Region, Marilee’s Bridal has been serving clients since 1992.
Angela and Kelly, a local mother and daughter team, took over the store in 2016. Moving the store to a new location with a fresh new look was the first thing they did. Bringing in new designers and styles was prioritized and upping the client experience was critical.
Angela brings a wealth of business and design experience to the business along with her love of creating warm and memorable experiences for Marilee’s clients. She was inspired to purchase the business after becoming a certified wedding planner and helping her nephew plan his wedding. She also wanted to create a legacy with a family business that she could share with her daughter Kelly.
Kelly discovered as a teenager, that dressing up in wedding dresses was both fun and glamorous. As a model in many fashion shows, she had the opportunity to learn about fashion design and trends, and how to find a fit that suits your body and makes you feel beautiful. Her organization skills are important as the manager of the store, ensuring that her customers receive the excellent customer service they deserve.
Both Angela and Kelly and their small team of bridal consultants are committed to delivering you personalized customer service, beautiful Inventory, and amazing value, all in a comfortable and relaxed boutique atmosphere.

They were so welcoming, asked many questions about my upcoming wedding, style, theme, colours, what I wanted. Ivy helped pick out several dresses for me to try on. They were not pushy at all. She was honest about what looked good and what we could alter on things. I had another appt. booked somewhere else after this store, but nothing compared to the service and options at Marilee’s!
I said yes to my dream dress there! I will highly recommend them to everyone!

I bought my dress at Marilee’s in Fall 2022 for my wedding in August 2023. It was an amazing experience - their girls are friendly and knowledgeable, their dresses are well priced with something to suit everyone’s budget and the boutique is beautiful. I even received my dress earlier than expected! Because of the staff’s attention to detail - I received my dress and it fit near perfect - the only alterations needed were to the hem. I cannot recommend Marilee’s enough - thank you! :)
